From your first contact with the Reservations Team, your vacation experience is given the highest attention.
The front desk staff and property manager get to know each guest by name and work closely with you to accommodate any requests. With six luxury villas, there is a feeling of intimacy and not just being a face in the crowd. Many of our staff have grown up on the island and can trace their family history back to the days when it was a sleepy fishing village. Their knowledge and expertise can make all the difference in your travel planning. They will have suggestions on the best restaurants, what excursions to plan, amenities available to guests and even directions and a map. Taking time before your vacation to plan and prepare in the following areas lets you fully enjoy your time in paradise.
Your Transfer from the International Airport to Belizean Cove Estates
Guests are given the VIP treatment as soon as they land in Belize and have cleared Customs and Immigration at the Philip Goldson International Airport (Airport code: BZE). A representative of Maya Island Air will greet you and escort you through the airport to the departure lounge for your local flight to Ambergris Caye. The scenic flight is 17 minutes and offers phenomenal vistas of the Caribbean Sea and the Belize Barrier Reef, as well as many small islands. Arriving at the island’s only airstrip in San Pedro Town, a Sandy Point Resorts representative will greet you and send you on the next available resort transfer to your villa.
To make this process as smooth as possible, we are pleased to arrange your local flight arrangements for you. The airfare ticket will simply be added to your account for payment upon booking. Please note that we do not assess a fee for booking your flights; this is simply a service we provide to our guests.
There is a surcharge of US$30 per person for round-trip transportation from San Pedro Town to Belizean Cove Estates, arrival and departure transfers leave once per hour. Please note that transfer arrangements must be made at least 72 hours prior to your arrival. Contact us to find out more.
Your Luxury Villa
Each villa can be expanded to 1, 2 or 3 bedroom/bathroom configurations. This allows you to customize the villa to the size of your group. The villas are tastefully decorated with locally-sourced materials and unique artworks. Each villa has its own style and décor that allows you to relax with everything you need to be comfortable. Gourmet kitchens with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances are fully equipped. The lower units have a covered patio that opens out to the pool while the upper units are accessed by 18 steps and enjoy unrivaled views of the Caribbean Sea and reef, just offshore.

Once you arrive at your luxury villa and settle into vacation mode, the last thing you want to have on your mind is running errands and shopping for groceries. Take advantage of a local provisioning service and walk into your luxury kitchen already stocked with your selections. Shop online from home and your groceries will be delivered and stored in the kitchen ahead of your arrival. It makes grabbing a snack and cold beverage and heading out to the pool a reality, even if you’ve only just arrived.
Chef for Hire
Beyond the convenience of not needing to shop for groceries, take it one step further and eliminate the need to prepare and clean up the evening meal. Consider scheduling a chef for hire prior to your vacation for an outstanding meal prepared and served right in your villa. This is perfect for a celebration, a small dinner party or just because. A meal shared that none of you have to orchestrate is one where the conversation and company etch their way into your memory.

There are plenty of activities to keep you busy while visiting Ambergris Caye. Belize is home to the second-largest Barrier Reef in the World. The reef offers world-class snorkeling, diving, and fishing. A wide variety of water sports are also available. Windsurfing, sea kayaking, sailing, jet-skiing, parasailing, and kiteboarding are among the many to choose from. The mainland of Belize offers a variety of adventurous activities. You can choose from Mayan Ruin exploration, zip-lining, cave tubing, river kayaking, horseback riding and much more. Our front desk will be happy to help you arrange any of these activities ahead of time to help round out your vacation itinerary.

Book ahead of time and enjoy the convenience of never needing to leave your villa.
